Dealers are more than welcome to use any of my services. For Canadian dealers, I am registered under the GST and will provide my tax number on all invoices. For Ontario dealers, I will not charge OST once I receive your tax-exempt number (at least until June 2010, at which point all Canadians will be charged tax but you can claim it as an Input Tax Credit if you are registered for sales tax). I have a wide range of approvals priced per 10, including some excellent mint sets of Eastern Europe and better used singles. I am also willing to shop around for better stamps.
If you deal in approvals or price lists yourself, I offer two values:
1) A reciprocal discount on all cash transactions in addition to the usual 20% cash reduction. Send your approvals or price list with a fixed discount, and I will offer the same discount on my approvals and price lists. Sorry, but you cannot apply this discount to trading or consignment transactions.
2) Trading on a retail for retail basis - no commissions or other charges (of course, we each pay our own postage for mailing things to the other). Send a selection of approvals or a price list and you can have trade credit equal to the amount I keep. Skeptical? You can go first - ask for something off my price list or approvals (up to $20.00 worth) and send back your price list or approvals and equivalent credit. Although exchange rates will be respected, all balances both ways will be in Canadian currency. If we're uneven at some point, trade transactions will be settled in cash at 80%.
